Ok, things are rolling right along. I just posted another demo for a song called “All The Things”. Give it a listen then e-mail me to tell me what you think, what movie soundtrack would it sound good on? It’s been submitted for a movie due out later this summer, but keep your fingers crossed ’cause it’s a long shot.
On the digital download front, I’m partially available at all the following sites: AudioLunchBox.com, BuyMusic.com, MusicMatch, and Rhapsody. But what I’m still waiting on is iTunes… So I want you to help let me know when I arrive on iTunes. To that end, the first person to find me on iTunes and buy a song or full disc will win a copy of “A Natural Leap Forward” DVD surround sound experience.
I’m returning to Phoenix this weekend, should be a fun couple of shows. If you’re out in the area, stop by and say hi.
Still in talks with A&R men, but things are looking bright. Will keep you up to date on this. Feel the love!! It’s February, don’t ya know?
Keeping track of what music is on what Legal Download sites:
Currently E.nergy A.udio R.evolution, is this considered naked, and Initial Spank are all available at MusicMatch – through the music match software on windows.
Amalgam is available at AudioLunchBox.com, Amalgam & my Solo discs are at BuyMusic.com.
So far I’m still waiting on the pending arrival at the premiere service iTunes Music Store, and also at Rhapsody, musicnet, Napster & E-Music. All of my CD’s are there I’m just waiting for them to show. I will announce it hear first then send out an e-mail to the mailing list to work on doing a group purchase.
I’m knee-deep in finishing two more songs that are turning out quite amazing. i recently sent another CD of tunes into the label that is interested. Will be talking to other labels and agents by the end of the week. It’s a very exciting time. As well I’m going to be playing a little ditty for Seymour Duncan at NAMM, one of the companies that has been kind to me.
In a completely unrelated turn, I would suggest giving the following page a run through… www.bushin30seconds.org. I’m not an overly political person, but I am really disappointed in the current President.
Ok, so we’re finally getting into the swing of the New Year. So far I’ve had three new songs mastered. One of them you can hear the demo version of on the music page (“Closer To Ourselves”). In the interim I will be finishing up some other songs this weekend and spending some time writing with Will Champlin on another new song.
For those wondering what’s happening for the legal digital downloads, the story goes like this… Right now you can purchase the Amalgam “Delicate Stretch of the Seems” mkII on AudioLunchbox.com. I’ve been waiting upon final arrival at iTunes, Napster, MusicMatch, and others. All my music will be on all those services. They have the music, I’m waiting on them to update their systems. I will post all links here as soon as they go live.
In the mean time things are looking very good for the new Album and it’s getting picked up for major release. I’ll keep y’all posted on that too.
Have a great day!
Happy New Year Everyone!
Stay tuned for new demo clips and other fun news. Until then, stop on by at the message boards and make your prediction as to what will happen to my musical career this year!
Hey, hey, hey…
It’s a little holiday time. I’d like to congratulate Rosalyn S. who was the quickest to respond to the answer for the December newsletter question of where the answer of life is: 42. Of course we all know that it comes from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. If you haven’t read that book, do yourself a huge favor and go check it out from the library or purchase the whole series.
Now, in the spirit of the Christmas holiday, you can get a full mp3 of a holiday song I’ve written. Get the Christmas song. You are welcome to download it, copy it, give it to friends, etc… spread the holiday cheer.
Also, cause I’m feeling so nice, I’ve posted yet another clip of a new song demo that has been heard around some label offices. I’m currently putting the finishing touches on several more songs. Which will make their debut here early in the new year.
Check back on Christmas Eve.
Hey my fellow cyber-surfers. December is upon us. That means people are busy shoveling snow, building snowmen, dreaming of skiing, etc… Of course who can forget Christmas and Chanukah. Where would we be if we weren’t spending reams of cash on presents? (hint hint – look to the right on the screen).
As promised there is a winner to the Thanksgiving Story… This insane story was sent in by Grant Baccioco.
“Two years ago I’m having Thanksgiving with my parents, brother, girlfriend and 85 year old Great Grandmother.
At the end of the meal in the dining room, which overlooked the large, unheated pool in our backyard, I jokingly suggested that we all go swimming. It was about 50 degrees out and windy. My dad whipped out a $20 bill and said first one in the pool, naked, gets this.
My brother and I killed each other getting down the stairs while stripping and trying to shove each other out of the way.
My brother wound up with the twenty. I had double knots in my shoes.
We posed for photos with my great grandmother afterwards. In our undies.
True story!
Grant”
Grant wins a copy of “A Natural Leap Forward” DVD version. Congrats Grant!
Stay tuned for more music to be posted on the site. I have another demo about to go up in a week. Enjoy your day.
It’s been a long weekend, as you can see the website now sports an even more improved look. Well at least it does if you have a browser from at least the year 2000 or newer, and CSS turned on. I took some serious time to roll that out and make a very nice and easy to update site.
In the mean time I’m whipping up three more new songs. I’m about done demo’ing two of them out. I suspect that I’ll have the two done by the weekend and the third one will be sometime late next week.
Thanksgiving is upon us and I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. As well I wish to remind you about current little contest I have. E-mail me your best Thanksgiving Day story. You might very well win yourself a special collectors item. Namely a copy of “A Natural Leap Forward” the surround sound DVD.
By the way… Anyone a snow freak? I know I am and I’m being told that it’s opening a banner year for skiing already. With more than some 80 odd inches in the Utah mountains!! Whoo hoo, I can’t wait for some Christmas skiing.
Stay tuned, obviously I’ll be posting another song demo. You can look forward to a clip of “Falling In”.
Peace.
Alright, as promised…
I’ve got another song demo posted. This time around it’s a tune called Favor Me check the music page. Yes, you can hear the demo mix that will lead to the final version sometime early in 2004. In the mean time, I’ve begun booking some things around Phoenix and will flesh out more dates.
Ultrasound Management has begun to piece together the inklings of the tour for next year. As well a song that I co-wrote with Will Champlin and Greg Watton called “Nuthin’s Gonna Make Me” is going to be recorded by a new artist. Think Justin Timberlake on Steroids.
Don’t forget to send in your favorite Thanksgiving story, you might just win a special collectors CD.
Ok, so I sent out the November news letter and started to get emails about strange Thanksgiving Day stories. In light of some of the responses I’ve already gotten, I’d like to turn this into a contest…
So, email me your strangest Thanksgiving Day story (it has to be true please) and come the first week of December I’ll figure out which story I like best. The winner will receive their story posted here for the world to see, and will get a copy of A Natural Leap Forward (website). You’ll either win the CD or the DVD, but you won’t get both.
In the mean time, I’ll post a clip of another new song “Favor Me” early next week. Come on back to listen, but before you leave, check out “Closer to Ourselves” on the music page.
See ya soon.
Crackin in the studio working on the new songs for an A’n’R person I’ve recently met. Changes where made to one song (already posted a clip here on the site), currently finishing up lyrics and recording vocals on two more before I send them in.
Management is working on getting the people in line to be putting a tour together, will keep you posted.
Check back next week for the next song demo clip to be posted. Don’t be shy and email me your thoughts about the new songs or any of the old CD’s.
